The Effect Of Merdeka Curriculum Implementation On The Discipline Of Grade Xii Students At Man 1 Polman

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the level of implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, the level of student discipline, and the effect of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum on the discipline of twelfth-grade students at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar. This research employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The population consisted of 428 twelfth-grade students, with a sample of 207 respondents selected using the Slovin formula and quota sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality testing, and simple linear regression.

The results showed that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum was in the high category, with a mean score of 3.17, while student discipline was also in the high category, with a mean score of 3.12. The simple linear regression analysis produced an R value of 0.675, an R Square value of 0.455, and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Thus, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum significantly affects student discipline, contributing 45.5%, while the remaining 54.5% is influenced by other factors outside the study
